DEAR JANE RETURNS

My poor little Dear Jane hasn't seen the light of day for sooooo long. Gosh I can't even remember exactly how long it has been. Last night - with encouragement from friends - I made a block. Not a difficult block, but a block just the same.
Dear Jane: block C-1
How do YOU organize your DJ stuff? I can't remember how I had everything. lol. If I am organized I think things will work out better.  Somewhere I have charts, etc. Must find where they are and get all set up again. If everything is out and at hand, I will probably get more done. Please wish me luck.

That's all for today. Thank you for stopping by for a visit. Until next time. . . I'm going to finish sewing on a binding. What are you going to do today?

Quilty Hugs,

Dear Jane blocks just amaze me! I think I'd have to have someone hold my hand if I were ever to sew one. I love them!

I love seeing all the Dear Jane blocks but haven't started it myself. So many things I need to do first. I was able to finally get a border sewn together and attached today but wasn't able to do more than that because of a bad back acting up. Aargh!

Getting organized is always a good idea, it is nice to have everything for a project ready to go.
Have fun with your next DJ blocks.

What a great block!! Keep it up, one block at a time and it'll all be over soon. I have all mine in a box. I really need to get started again too, maybe do some easy ones for inspiration.

Love the fabric on your block Cyn! I couldn't quite see it on the DJ group photo... it is really pretty.

If you find a good way to get organized please let me know. LOL... however, I am discovering that prepping a whole load of blocks up front helps... I've been doing this with my Raspberry Rabbits one. You can then just pick up and sew when you get the notion, LOL.... hugs Ellyx

One block at a time. That's the way to get to the end. My stuff is all in a Art Bin. Hasn't seen the light of day in over a year. Hmmm............

I'm a binder gal for long term projects. Each block goes in a page protector with templates, patterns bits of fabric -- whatever will be needed. Then I just grab whichever is next when I am ready to sew. Glad you are back at your dear Jane. Such a great project
