WHICH CENTER LOOKS BEST???

Finished FP-PPing the Twirly Dresden. Now it needs a center. Which one do you like best... the black or the mottled color?? BTW, I noticed something when taking the pics: by just rotating the color circle in the center, the whole thing looks different. Color and how it works just amazes me!

Just an FYI: if you ever tear your FP while you are working, don't despair. Tear off some bits of FP from scraps and press them on... works just like tape except better. Tape can gunk up one's iron.

Thanks again to Vicki for sharing her drawing. Please CLICK HERE to see Vicki's post and view her great drawing! Which, btw, she is kindly offering as a FREE download. Thanks, Vicki!

That's all for tonight. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll leave a comment about which circle you like best... I'm having trouble making up my mind and would appreciate your opinion. Thank you.  Until next time. . .

What an effective dresden!! I think the black centre would look best to finish it off.

Good Morning. The black gets my vote. It makes the whole block sparkle.

Both are great, but black is my favorite!! Great job and thanks for the FP hint.

Wow these are fabulous. The black makes the lines pop. The purple center makes it a little more muted but still pretty.

So striking! I agree with the majority, the black really gives it more motion.

I vote black too! You did a fantastic job! Ok, blonde moment here...what's FP? I'm sure it's something I should know. LOL

I really love the colors you picked! Are you making a whole quilt? I can't wait to see it finished!

Guess I'm the only one, but I vote for the mottled in the centre. It's going to be marvellous no matter which one you choose!

This Twirly Dresden in these fabrics is beyond beautiful. Only because you have asked would I tell you I like the center photo with the bit of green opposite the twirly greens. I have never seen anything like this and I am amazed. Creative Hearts are Happy Hearts...

OMG, I think your version of the Twirly Dresden might have just pushed me over the edge & I will be pushing aside the other projects I have ongoing to do this with some dyed fabrics! I'd already pinned Vicki's tute so I'm ready! I like the black circle but I wonder what it would look like if you put a teeny coloured one in the center of that? Just wondering. It's gorgeous, really breathtaking. Well done!

wow..gorgeous choice of colour...black center is bringing out other colours well...but i liked that 2nd option...i'm worried if black makes it more blackish...
